GAS FEST VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SERIES
Bringing the gas as marine fuel community together, virtually.
Gas Fest is a unique ‘for industry, by industry’ platform created as an antidote to the usual maritime conference or webinar. We’ve gathered key players across the marine fuel value system since 2017, in person and online, to explore the role of gas as a marine fuel on the Maritime Zero Pathway.
Through these virtual workshops, we:
-
Re-connect on current pressing industry issues
-
Share new perspectives
-
Discuss, debate and decide on tangible output

"Don't let perfect be the enemy of good"

Covering 4 key topics, another series of workshop took place over the course of a week.
Issues discussed:
-
Making the ongoing case for Bio and Synthetic LNG as marine fuel
-
What role can BioLNG play in decarbonising the shipping industry?

What participants said:
-
“Congratulations on a great set of Gas Fest workshops!”
-
"Thanks for the way you ran things. Great energy & enthusiasm - you kept our attention and interest throughout"

"Biofuels have a technical advantage over hydrogen or ammonia because the combustion and fuel handling technologies needed to use them on ships already exist"
